Announcements
Overview
Announcements are platform-wide messages published by the Wuliang AI Open Platform team to communicate important information to all users. These include service notices, promotional activities, and product update notes. Announcements help you stay informed about platform changes, upcoming maintenance windows, new features, and time-sensitive opportunities.
You can access announcements through two channels: the dedicated Announcements page accessible from the dashboard, and the dashboard banner that highlights unread announcements.
Prerequisites
- You must be logged in to the Wuliang AI Open Platform console.
Viewing Announcements
Step 1: Navigate to Announcements
From the main navigation, go to Dashboard and click Announcements.
The announcements page displays a list of all published announcements, sorted by publication date with the most recent at the top.
Step 2: Browse the Announcements List
The announcements list shows the following information for each entry:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Title | The headline of the announcement. |
| Type | The category of the announcement (Notice, Activity, or Update). |
| Published Date | The date the announcement was made public. |
| Status | Whether you have already read the announcement. |
Announcement Types
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Notice | Important operational messages such as maintenance schedules, service disruptions, and policy changes. |
| Activity | Promotional campaigns, events, and limited-time offers available to platform users. |
| Update | Product release notes, feature launches, and improvement summaries. |
Step 3: View Announcement Details
Click on any announcement title to open the detail drawer on the right side of the screen.
The detail drawer contains:
- Title - The full headline of the announcement.
- Type Badge - A colored badge indicating the announcement category (Notice, Activity, or Update).
- Published Date - The exact date the announcement was published.
- Content - The full body of the announcement, which may include formatted text, links, and images.
Accessing from the Dashboard Banner
Unread announcements are also surfaced on the Dashboard page through a prominent banner at the top of the screen.
Step 1: Check the Dashboard Banner
When you navigate to the Dashboard, an unread announcement banner appears if there are new announcements you have not yet viewed.
Step 2: Click to Read
Click the banner to be taken directly to the announcement detail. Once you view the announcement, it is marked as read and the banner will no longer display for that announcement.
Announcement Workflow
The following diagram illustrates how announcements flow from publication to your attention:
- The platform team publishes a new announcement.
- The announcement appears in the announcements list on the Dashboard page.
- An unread banner is displayed on the Dashboard for users who have not yet viewed it.
- You click the banner or navigate to the Announcements page.
- You open the detail drawer to read the full content.
- The announcement is marked as read and the banner is dismissed.
Notes
- Global Scope: Announcements are visible to all users on the platform. They are not scoped to individual accounts or enterprises.
- Read Tracking: The platform tracks which announcements you have already read. Read announcements remain accessible in the list but are no longer highlighted in the banner.
- No Deletion: Announcements cannot be deleted by users. They remain available in the list for reference.
- Sorting: Announcements are always sorted by publication date, with the most recent appearing first.
- Rich Content: Announcement bodies may contain formatted text, hyperlinks, and embedded images.
