Reset Password ​

Overview ​

If you have forgotten your Wuliang AI account password, you can reset it using the email address or phone number associated with your account. The reset process verifies your identity by sending a 6-digit verification code, then allows you to set a new password.

After a successful password reset, you will be redirected to the login page where you can sign in with your new credentials.

Prerequisites ​

  • Access to the email address or phone number registered with your Wuliang AI account
  • A modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge)

Steps ​

1. Navigate to the Reset Password page ​

From the login page, click the Forgot Password link. Alternatively, navigate directly to the Reset Password page.

2. Enter your email or phone number ​

In the Email / Phone field, enter the email address or phone number you used when registering your account. The platform automatically detects the type based on the input format:

  • Input containing @ is treated as an email address
  • Input matching a phone number pattern is treated as a phone number

3. Complete the slider CAPTCHA ​

Before a verification code can be sent, you must pass a slider puzzle CAPTCHA to verify that you are not a robot.

  1. Click the Send Code button next to the verification code field
  2. A slider puzzle dialog will appear
  3. Drag the puzzle piece to the correct position to complete the verification

After passing the CAPTCHA once, you will not need to repeat it for subsequent code requests in the same session.

4. Receive and enter the verification code ​

A 6-digit verification code will be sent to your email or phone:

  • Email: Check your inbox and spam folder
  • Phone: Check your SMS messages

Enter the code in the Verification Code field. If you do not receive it, wait for the 60-second countdown to expire and try again.

5. Set your new password ​

Enter a new password that meets the following requirements:

  • Minimum 8 characters
  • Use a strong password for better security (a password strength indicator is displayed to help you)

Confirm the new password by entering it again in the Confirm Password field. Both entries must match exactly.

6. Submit the reset request ​

Click the Reset Password button to submit your request. Upon success:

  1. Your password is updated immediately
  2. You are redirected to the login page
  3. Log in with your email/phone and the new password

Notes ​

  • Verification code validity: Verification codes expire after a certain period. Request a new one if yours has expired.
  • Code resend cooldown: After sending a verification code, you must wait 60 seconds before requesting another one.
  • Session-based CAPTCHA: The slider CAPTCHA result is cached for the current session. If you need to resend the code within the same session, you can do so without repeating the CAPTCHA.
  • No old password required: The reset flow does not require your old password. It relies on email or SMS verification to confirm your identity.
