Dissolve Enterprise
Overview
Dissolving an enterprise permanently removes the enterprise and all associated data from the Wuliang AI Open Platform. This is the most destructive action available and should only be used when the enterprise is no longer needed.
Warning: This action is completely irreversible. Once dissolved, the enterprise cannot be restored, and all associated data is permanently deleted.
Prerequisites
- You must be the super admin of the enterprise.
- You must fully understand and accept the consequences of dissolution.
Impact of Dissolution
Before proceeding, understand what happens when an enterprise is dissolved:
| Impact | Details |
|---|---|
| Applications | All enterprise applications are frozen and become inaccessible. |
| API Keys | All enterprise API keys are revoked and frozen. Any active integrations will stop working immediately. |
| Balance | The enterprise balance is frozen. Remaining funds may not be recoverable. |
| Members | All members are removed from the enterprise. They revert to their personal tenants. |
| Invitations | All pending invitations are invalidated. Recipients will see an "expired" or "invalid" message. |
| Billing History | Billing records may be retained for compliance purposes but are no longer accessible through the platform. |
| Audit Logs | Enterprise audit logs are archived and no longer viewable. |
Steps
1. Navigate to the Dissolve Page
The Dissolve page is hidden from the main navigation menu to prevent accidental access. To reach it:
- Go to Enterprise > Settings (or navigate directly to the enterprise settings page).
- Scroll to the bottom to find the "Danger Zone" section.
- Click "Dissolve Enterprise".
Alternatively, you may access the dissolve page directly via the enterprise settings route.
2. Review the Full-Page Warning
The dissolve page is a dedicated full-page view designed to ensure you fully understand the consequences. It displays:
- A clear warning banner.
- A detailed list of all data and resources that will be affected.
- The number of members who will be removed.
- The number of applications and API keys that will be frozen.
3. Step 1 — Type the Enterprise Name
To confirm your intent, you must type the exact name of your enterprise in the confirmation field. This ensures you are fully aware of which enterprise you are dissolving.
If the entered name does not match exactly, the confirmation button remains disabled.
4. Step 2 — Acknowledge the Consequences
Check the acknowledgment checkbox to confirm that you understand:
- This action is irreversible.
- All enterprise data will be permanently deleted.
- All members will be removed.
- All applications and API keys will be frozen.
5. Confirm the Dissolution
Click the "Dissolve Enterprise" button to finalize the action.
A final confirmation dialog may appear. Click "Confirm" to proceed.
Once confirmed, the enterprise is immediately dissolved. You are redirected to your personal tenant.
What Happens After Dissolution
- You are redirected to your personal tenant.
- The enterprise no longer appears in your tenant switcher.
- All former members receive a notification that the enterprise has been dissolved.
- All API integrations using enterprise keys will return authentication errors.
Alternatives to Dissolution
Before dissolving your enterprise, consider these alternatives:
- Transfer super admin — If you no longer want to manage the enterprise, transfer ownership to another member instead of dissolving it. See Transfer Super Admin.
- Remove members — If you want to restrict access, remove all members and keep the enterprise active with only the super admin. See Member Management.
Notes
- This action is irreversible. There is no undo button, no grace period, and no recovery option.
- Ensure all important data is exported or backed up before dissolving.
- If there are remaining funds in the enterprise balance, contact support before dissolving.
- The dissolution page is intentionally difficult to access to prevent accidental use.
- All pending invitations are invalidated immediately upon dissolution.
- Former members can still access their personal tenants and any personal resources.
