Balance Alerts

Balance Alerts help you avoid unexpected service interruptions by notifying you when your account balance falls below a specified threshold. You can configure the alert threshold and choose your preferred notification channels.

Overview

When your balance drops below the configured threshold, the platform sends notifications through your selected channels. This gives you time to top up your account before the balance is depleted and API access is affected.

Access the Balance Alert Settings

  1. Log in to the Wuliang AI Open Platform console.

  2. In the left sidebar, click Finance to expand the menu.

  3. Select Top Up.

  4. On the Top Up page, click the Settings icon (gear) to open the Balance Alert settings modal.

How Alerts Work

Understanding the alert lifecycle helps you stay on top of your balance:

  1. Monitoring — The platform continuously monitors your account balance as API calls are made and deductions occur.

  2. Threshold Check — Each time your balance changes, the platform checks whether it has fallen below your configured threshold.

  3. Notification Trigger — If the balance is below the threshold, the platform sends notifications through all your enabled channels.

  4. Repeat Alerts — Alerts are sent each time the balance drops further. Once you top up and the balance exceeds the threshold again, alerts stop until the next threshold breach.

Notes

  • Balance alerts are per-account. If you are part of an enterprise, each member's alert settings are independent unless managed centrally.
  • SMS notifications may incur carrier charges depending on your mobile plan.
  • There may be a short delay (typically under one minute) between a balance change and the alert being sent.
  • If you disable all notification channels, you will not receive alerts even with a threshold set.
  • We recommend setting your threshold high enough to give you adequate time to complete a bank transfer top-up (1–3 business days).
