Bind / Change Phone ​

Overview ​

The phone number associated with your Wuliang AI account is used for login, password recovery, and security verification. You can change your bound phone number through the Profile Settings page using the Contact Modify dialog.

The change process verifies your identity by sending a 6-digit SMS verification code to the new phone number, after you pass a slider CAPTCHA challenge.

Prerequisites ​

  • You must be logged in to the Wuliang AI console
  • Access to the new phone number you want to bind (it must be able to receive SMS messages)
  • The new phone number must not already be registered or bound to another Wuliang AI account

Steps ​

1. Navigate to Profile Settings ​

  1. Click your avatar or username in the top-right corner of the console header
  2. Select Personal Center from the dropdown menu
  3. Go to Account Settings > Security

2. Open the Change Phone dialog ​

In the Security Settings, locate the Bound Phone section. Click the Modify button to open the Contact Modify dialog for phone.

3. Review your current phone number ​

The dialog displays your current bound phone number (partially masked, e.g. 138****8293). If no phone is bound, it will show Not Bound.

4. Enter the new phone number ​

In the New Phone field, enter the phone number you want to bind to your account.

5. Complete the slider CAPTCHA ​

Click the Send Code button. A slider CAPTCHA dialog will appear for security verification. Drag the puzzle piece to the correct position to pass the challenge.

6. Receive and enter the SMS verification code ​

A 6-digit verification code will be sent to your new phone number via SMS.

  1. Check your SMS messages
  2. Enter the 6-digit code in the Verification Code field
  3. If you do not receive the code, wait for the 60-second countdown to expire and try again

7. Confirm the change ​

Click Confirm to submit the change. Upon success:

  • A success notification will appear
  • The dialog will close automatically
  • Your profile settings will reflect the updated phone number

Notes ​

  • Phone uniqueness check: Before sending the verification code, the system checks whether the new phone number is already bound to another account. If it is, an error message will be displayed and the code will not be sent.
  • CAPTCHA session caching: Once you pass the slider CAPTCHA, it remains valid for the current session. Subsequent code requests within the same session will not require another CAPTCHA.
  • Code resend cooldown: After sending a verification code, you must wait 60 seconds before requesting a new one.
  • Immediate effect: The phone number change takes effect immediately. Your old phone number will no longer be associated with the account.
  • SMS delivery: SMS delivery may take a few seconds. If you experience significant delays, check with your mobile carrier.
